Bénédicte Brouard, a dynamic woman
in her fifties, created B-Ref
in 2002. A solid education (Institut d'Etudes Politiques
Paris, MBA at University of Paris-Dauphine, degree
in history from the Sorbonne) reinforced her spontaneous
intellectual curiosity and her ability to adapt
to complex environments.
During her 25 year career in management at Sonepar,
as Director of External Relations (Finance/Purchasing/Sales/Development)
and then as Executive Vice President , she made
an extensive contribution to the group's development
while acquiring a varied background in B to B and
practical experience in international markets.
Then came two new ventures. Bénédicte
learned about the Telecoms industry as the General
Manager of Coriolis Télécom, then
returned to the building sector as President of
NFI and as Director of French Affairs at Philipp
Holzmann International.
Remembering that Sonepar was a startup that succeeded,
she decided to focus her energy on developing businesses
by both working in venture capital with Lafayette
International and by creating B-Ref.
During this period, she attended IHEDN (Institut
des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale) and
is active as the President of the Paris Committee
of External Trade Consultants.
Her interest in people and her joie de vivre have
kept her involved in several clubs, forums and work
groups on topics ranging from art de vivre to social
interaction and strategic thinking. |
